Circulating Fake News

The government of pakistan was changing the punjab bike scheme to give people environmentally friendly transportation. According to media news in the last few days, the punjab bike scheme was being ended by the government of pakistan because of theft of its batteries and low mileage.

And according to this report it was also said that the government of pakistan will now give petrol bikes to the students instead of electric bikes. Due to which the students had to face problems but now as soon as the statement has come from the punjab government that the punjab government has not decided to cancel any kind of bike scheme. E-Bikes Scheme For Students

Let me tell you that a bike scheme was started by the government of pakistan in the last few days. Through the scheme, bikes were to be distributed by the government among 20,000 students who are pursuing education in colleges and universities. This program also includes 1000 electric bikes and 19000 petrol bikes which will be distributed among the students.

To register in this program, a web portal has been created by the government of pakistan where you can go and complete your registration. The biggest advantage of this bike scheme is that you will be able to get the bike on easy installments and for this you will not have to pay any kind of interest.

Installment Plan

A contract has been signed by the government of pakistan with punjab bank for easy distribution of bikes among students. In this contract, the monthly installment plan for electric bikes has been kept at Rs 10,000 while for petrol bikes the monthly installment plan has been kept at Rs 5000.

Delivery

At present, more applications have been collected than the eligibility criteria for the bike scheme set by the government of pakistan. hence the government of pakistan will hold a lottery in the month of may. The government will distribute bikes among the lucky people through this lottery.

Quota

A quota has been kept for distributing the bikes in the best possible way. According to this quota, there will be an equal number of bikes distributed among male and female students in urban areas. While in rural areas, 70% quota has been kept for male students while 30% has been kept for women students.
